House Ambassadors program terms

These are the program’s terms in plain English. Each Ambassador also signs the House Ambassadors Agreement To confirm: written by our lawyer. If the two ever differ, the signed agreement wins.

Joining

• You must be 18 or older. Joining is by application, and we decide which applications to accept.
• To confirm: Is the program open only to US residents? Payouts and tax forms (W-9, 1099-NEC) assume so.
• You’re an independent creator, not our employee, agent or partner.

Commission

• Start at 15% of the profit on every order. Every 10 orders adds 5%, up to 25%. A strong following with over 150K impressions a month may start higher. Your starting rate is 15% unless we agree a higher one with you in writing.
• Commission is paid on profit, not on sales. Profit is 40% of the order subtotal after discounts, before tax. Shipping, tax and gift cards don’t count.
• Your link credits you for 30 days after someone clicks it. Orders with your code always count. Each order credits one Ambassador.
• Orders you place yourself, through your own link or code, earn no commission.
• An order refunded before its commission is paid out earns no commission. Once commission is paid, it’s yours to keep.
• We may change the rates and steps for the future, with To confirm: notice period notice. Changes never reduce commission you’ve already earned.

Getting paid

• Commission clears 30 days after an order is delivered and is paid on the 1st of each month. There’s no minimum.
• The 30 days start when the order is delivered. We take the delivery date from the carrier’s tracking where we have it, and otherwise record it ourselves.
• Payouts go through our payout partner. We need your W-9 before your first payout.
• We send a 1099-NEC for any year we pay you $2,000 or more.

Launch gift

The first 100 accepted Ambassadors are eligible for a free blanket of your choice from the shop, shipped to you free. To confirm: what an Ambassador must do to receive it, and how the first 100 are counted

Disclosure

• Federal law (the FTC’s Endorsement Guides) requires you to say you’re paid in every post: commission, free product and discounts all count.
• Put #ad at the very start of the caption, or use the Paid partnership label, and say it out loud in videos.
• Don’t rely on #sp, #collab or #ambassador alone, or hide it at the end or only in your bio.

Honest content

• Only promote blankets you’ve used, and share your real opinion.
• No health or safety claims unless they appear word for word on our product page.
• Never show a blanket or loose bedding with a sleeping baby under 12 months, or inside a crib, bassinet or play yard.
• If your children appear in paid content, you’re responsible for your state’s child-creator laws.

Where you can share

• Allowed: your own social accounts, blog and YouTube, and your email list, to people who signed up for it.
• Not allowed: search ads on our name or product names, coupon and deal sites, spam or unasked texts and DMs, buying through your own link or code, and fake accounts, bots or paid clicks.

Earnings examples

Any earnings calculator or example we show is an illustration, not a promise. Hypothetical examples, not typical results, and many earn less. Commission is paid on profit, not on sales or revenue.

Ending

• Either of us can end your membership at any time, in writing. We still pay the approved commission you’ve earned.
• We may pause or end an account that breaks these terms. Commission earned in ways that aren’t allowed isn’t paid.
